eclipse

Happy New Year!
As being the first nails of the new year, I thought it would be appropriate to do a black and white mani, seeing that I love black so much and having something classic is always nice. I love space and one thing that I haven't seen a lot of is eclipse nail art. An eclipse is so beautiful and I really love the glow of white around black.

I started off with two coats of black polish over all my nails. On my ring finger, I used a paper hole reinforcement to tape a perfect circle on the nail and painted it white. I then used a makeup sponge to add the glow of the white around the circle, making it kind of fade into the black. When all of the polish was fully dry, I took another paper hole reinforcement and taped it right over the white circle and painted it black. This is the way to get the perfect look of the eclipse.
