#1: Day at the Beach
Hi!
Have you ever heard of an art challenge? Well my sister is an artist and is always doing one. They are a list of challenges that the artist interprets and then draws or paints. I loved the idea of doing a nail art challenge. However, when I looked it up, there only seems to be one and it doesn't give you much chance to do some crazy-fun art. So my sister made one for me. . .
I really want to see what you guys come up with. I love seeing how other people see things. So I hope you try it out! If you want me to see it, use the hashtag #15NailsofSummer on twitter/tumblr/whatever or just the phrase "15 Nails of Summer".
Today I have the first set of nails for you! When I think of a beach, I think of the water coming up and then flowing back out to the ocean like this . . . (my pictures I took on one of my family vacations . . . I am kinda of a photography nerd).
To achieve this look, I went for and gradient. This would make it look like water receding from the beach. I then added one coat of glitter and a flower jewel to the accent finger.
Colors: Essie = sand topaz(sand color) & beach bum blu(blue), China Glaze = Fairy Dust(glitter)
