Coral Reef

 Hey hey hey!

I always love doing half moons on my nails! A half moon is where, at the bottom of the nail (near the cuticle), a half round area with a different color of polish is. I always forget that normally you should have the darker color be the big area of the nail. So, I end up having to do a lot of free hand work on the half moons. I will have a tutorial doing half moons the right way soon, but for now I give you nails that look like a coral reef and are getting me in the mood for summer and swimming!

I first painted my nails in a pinky-orange and then did the circles with a dotting tool (very hard to get it to look perfect).  I added one layer of glitter coat and was satisfied.

Tip: If you ever have a line or a curve that you did freehand and it doesn't look perfect, do a glitter top coat. It distracts from the messy areas and tends to give it a shine that hides the issues. ;)

Colors: essie = tart deco (pinky-orange), butter London = Royal Navy (deep blue), China Glaze = Fairy Dust (glitter coat)
