Spring Lake

Hey hey hey, my Polish Peeps!!

On this cloudy first day of spring, I have some "basic" (at least for me) nails! I had my wonderful mum pick out one her favorite colors from my collection. And she just so happened to pick out the light blue the I adore! So, with three coats of the blue polish applied, I grabbed my current white polish and added a flower with a dotter tool (this is also doable with a toothpick and looks just as good!!).

One thing that is fun to add to a flower is a jewel in the center of the flower. Now, there are nail jewels at beauty shops that are beautiful but if you can't find them, at a craft store they should have jewels. Look for the smallest sizes they have. I got my first jewels at Micheal's and they work just as well as nail jewels (I now use nail jewels). To apply the jewel, put a tiny dot of top coat where you want it. If you need extra hold, use nail glue which is normally used to put on fake nails. This will keep the jewel on until you what to change your nails!

Colors: Essie = bikini so teeny (light blue), Essie = blanc (white)

Hope you have an amazing first day of spring. I am going to go play in the rain!!
Peace out!
