Blue & Sliver 2013 and 2015
Hallo Polish Peeps!
A few days ago, my sister was going though our old pictures and found some of my first nail art from 2013. Back then, I had just found out what nail art was, didn't have base coat or top coat, I was using a tooth pick for most of the art (which is perfect for beginners or any time you don't have the tools), and didn't really know what a cuticle was! So, I looked at the nails and thought of doing a progress post! I redid the nails. Thankfully, the nails done in 2015 look so much better! This just showed me how much I have progressed and it shows that you get better the more you do and the more you learn! I was hoping this would inspire anybody who doesn't think that they can do it . . . let me tell you something - YOU CAN! Trust me!
So, in 2013, I had just bought China Glaze for the first time and Essie was very new to me. On the pointer, I used a toothpick to do the dots, on the pinky I used glitter I found in the craft supplies in my house. I didn't have a glitter polish! I'm not even going to try to explain what I did on my thumb back then. I can barley look at that photo, its just . . . wow.
(A few things to look at the in the pictures; I have marked the pictures with the year, pay attention to the design in the different years and see how it has changed to my tastes now, and look at how bad the paint job was in 2013!! It is so shocking o: )
Colors: China Glaze = First Mate (blue), Essie = no place like chrome (sliver), China Glaze = Fairy Dust (glitter)
So what you think? Do you see the improvement or does it look the same?
Peace out!
