Moon Gradient Tutorial

Hallo Polish Peeps!

I wanted to do a nail gradient again and wanted to give you a how to. For this, I picked out my favorite light purple and my favorite white polish and set to work.

Colors: OPI = You're Such a BudaPest, OPI = Alpine Snow (white), China Glaze = Fairy Dust (glitter top coat)

Step 1: First you want to apply one coat of the lightest color of polish out of the colors you have chosen.
Step 2: On a make-up sponge, paint the colors you have chosen on the order you  want it on your nail. So the top of the make-up sponge will be the end of the nail near the cuticle.
When you have applied both colors to the sponge it will look like this.
Step 3: Place the painted (still wet) sponge on your nail and press lightly.
Peel the sponge off and your colors will be applied to the nail.
When you sponge on the next layer make the sponge go a little up on the nail and the sponge on another lower. Basically, when you are sponging, sponge up the nail and sponge down the nail until the colors fade into each other.  Sponge on 1 to 2 more layers to get the desired colors.
The more layers you add, the brighter the colors appear (don't worry about the polish that gets on the sides of the nail--you can clean them up later one).
When you are done with the sponging and it's dry, you have a few options. You can either just paint on your top coat and leave your nails like that or you can add a glittery top coat. I added a glittery top coat 'cause it seems to blend the colors together and makes for an extra blended effect. I also added a silver jewel to my ring finger for fun! But when you do your gradient, you can do what works for you and what you like.
Anyway this is how they look with glitter, a jewel, and top coat!

Hope this helps you guys create your own gradients!
 Peace out!
