The Mark Of Athena

Hey Polish Peeps! The Mark of Athena nails! (Once again SPOILERS ahead if you have not read the book and plan to do so!)

• Annabeth Chase - Daughter of Athena (guess who has a big part in this book haha)

For Annabeth, I wanted to show her journey. So, I went with a line that moves across the nails. I went with a darker pink because she is still very much a girl but a strong one at that. I did the line in gray because of her stormy gray eyes that are filled with information on everything and everyone. 

Colors: essie = angora cardi (pink), essie = over the edge (gray) 

• Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano - Daughter of Bellona

For Reyna, I wanted to show how she basically only had one reason for doing anything anymore after losing Jason and having Percy turn her down: Camp Jupiter. So I put the symbol of the camp, SPQR, on my nails in gold on top of Camp Jupiter purple.

Colors: OPI = Vant to bite my neck?, Strip Rite = Gold

• The Mark of Athena - 3rd book of The Heroes of Olympus series

For The Mark of Athena,  I did a gradient like the cover of the book. It goes from a yellowish white to a light pink/orange/red and then to a dark red. I did that and put a glitter top coat of gold  because gradients look best with a glitter coat over them.

Colors: Zora = Jacqueline (white), OPI = Cajun Shrimp (orange/pink/red), OPI = Malaga Wine (dark red), Mineral Fusion = Glimmer (gold glitter)

I just love these! Check tomorrow for The House of Hades nails!
