The Lost Hero

Okay Polish Peeps my favorite days have come! I have been counting down to The Blood of Olympus since July. It may be very crazy, but the Percy Jackson books have been with me since 4th grade and have helped me with my dyslexia. So, crazy is fine with me.

Now, onto the nails! For my Heroes of Olympus nails, I did a set of nails for each of the main characters as well as a set based off of each cover of the book. First and foremost, I did nails for The Lost Hero. (SPOILERS ahead if you have not read the books and plan to do so!)
  •  Jason Grace - Son of Jupiter

I did a half Camp Half-Blood orange and half Camp Jupiter purple separated by a lighting bolt. This is because he can't really chose which side he wants to be on--Greek or Roman.

Colors: essie = meet me at sunset, OPI =  Vant to bite my neck?, and Stripe Rite = gold

  • Piper McLean - Daughter of Aphrodite

For these, I used a very light pink that looks like you don't want to be noticed, but get noticed anyway. And then I put gold swirls on top to symbolize her charmspeak.

Colors: butter London = Kerfuffle, Stripe Rite = Gold

  • Leo Valdez - Son of Hephaestus

For this, I wanted to do something with fire or his favorite color, red. Then I found a color called Stone Cold which looked like a piece of burnt wood so I just had to use it. I used red and the gray on the nails back and forth cause he is too ADHD to choose just one color. (I will probably do more Leo nails in the future, seeing as he is one of my favorite characters.)

Colors: china glaze = Ruby Pumps, china glaze = Stone Cold

  • The Lost Hero - 1st book of The Heroes Of Olympus series

    Well, duh, I did four letters on each hand: L, O, S, T & H, E, R, O. Boom.

Colors: essie = vested interest, Strip Rite = Gold

I love this book and the nails look great to me. I love them. See you tomorrow for The Son Of Neptune.
In the great words of Leo Valdez, peace out!
