The House Of Hades

1 DAY UNTIL THE BLOOD OF OLYMPUS! I am sooo EXCITED (if you couldn't tell)! (SPOILERS ahead once again.)

• Nico di Angelo - Son of Hades 

For Nico, I wanted to show the his personality. I think a lot of people see him as black, but I think he is also shades of gray and even white. So, I did a tilted stripe nail. Black on top, white in the middle, and a light gray on the bottom. I thought this showed how he is layered, in a sense.

Colors: China Glaze = Liquid Leather, OPI = Alpine Snow, Mineral Fusion = Gravel Road

• Octavian - "Son" of Apollo 

 For Octavian, I have always seen him as a gold type of person, and with that I wanted to show what he does best--ripping up stuffed animals for his Auguries. So in the corner of the nail, I used a dotting tool and made a million dots and piled it up to look like teddy bear stuffing.

Colors: essie = good as gold, OPI = Alpine Snow

• The House of Hades - 4th book of The Heroes of Olympus series

For The House of Hades, I wanted to sort of do the whole cover on my nails, but that was too hard. So I decided to take the color of the cover (like a dusty plum color) and have the River Phlegethon  run across the side of it. So I did a wave of a pink/orange/red fire-y color.

Colors:  essie = bahama mama, OPI = Cajun Shrimp

I love these. I will be reading The Blood of Olympus for the next few days so probably no nails for a while (pun not intended, but yet, intended).
