Sorta Cinderella Nails

 Hello Polish Peeps!
Today I bring you a nail gradient. Now you are probably like "What the heck is that?" Or, at least I was like that when I first saw this word. A gradient is two to three nail polishes fading into each other. Or at least that's what I have gathered. I will do a tutorial on this soon (maybe a fall/Halloween one) but for now you will have to wait.

For these nails I used:
  • Essie - rock the boat
  • OPI - Alpine Snow
  • China Glaze - Fairy Dust
For a gradient, you will also need a makeup sponge. I know, weird right? So, first apply one or two coats of the lightest color, in this case it is OPI Alpine Snow (which is white). Once that is dry, paint a streak of the white and the a steak of blue under the white on the makeup sponge. Then you will take the sponge and roll it on top of the nail. You will want to move it up and down a little bit so the colors blend and look like they are fading. THIS WILL MAKE SENSE WHEN I DO A PICTURE TUTORIAL!!! I promise to explain more in later posts! After the gradient part is done, put one coat of Fairy Dust on all the nails and a jewel on the ring and thumb. Now I will leave you with these pictures of the final product. . .

So, this is sorta like Cinderella, seeing as it looks like her dress and I was watching Once Upon A Time (the episodes with Cinderella, of course) when I did these. Hehehe!
Peace out!
