Sorta Cinderella Nails

 Hello Polish Peeps! Today I bring you a nail gradient. Now you are probably like "What the heck is that?" Or, at least I was like that when I first saw this word. A gradient is two to three nail polishes fading into each other. Or at least that's what I have gathered. I will do a tutorial on this soon (maybe a fall/Halloween one) but for now you will have to wait. For these nails I used: Essie - rock the boat OPI - Alpine Snow China Glaze - Fairy Dust  For a gradient, you will also need a makeup sponge. I know, weird right? So, first apply one or two coats of the lightest color, in this case it is OPI Alpine Snow (which is white). Once that is dry, paint a streak of the white and the a steak of blue under the white on the makeup sponge. Then you will take the sponge and roll it on top of the nail. You will want to move it up and down a little bit so the colors blend and look like they are fading. THIS WILL MAKE SENSE WHEN I DO A PICTURE TUTORIAL!!! I promise to ...

Captian America Pride (First Nails)

Hello! So let me start off with a bang: Captain America Nails. I did these in celebration of Captain America: The Winter Soldier coming out on DVD (or Blu-Ray ... whatever). I took inspiration from Cap's costume, seen in this picture below. For these nails I used: China Glaze's First Mate on the thumb, pointer, middle, and pinky fingers. Then did the designs in Essie's No Place Like Chrome. For the ring finger, I used China Glaze's White on White, Essie's A List and Aruba blue. The middle and pinky nails have Cap's outfit design that point to the star on his chest. For the pointer, well, you know Captain America and his Stars and Strips, so I used star nail confetti. You can find nail confetti at any store that sells nail stuff, particularly Sally Beauty. The thumb is inspired by his helmet that has a big "A" on it. And the ring has his shield.  Now, these nails are hard to paint. It took me 3 days total to do. The shield was very hard t...
