Epiphany

Image
Hey everyone! There is something about the weather getting cooler and chilly rain that makes dark nails so beautiful. I wanted to do some nails with a bit on an accent on a few fingers using different patterns that go together (inspiration from BTS's epiphany ). I started with two coats of white on my thumb, index, and pinky fingers. On my ring and middle fingers I painted them a grey. Once the white was fully dry, I took my striping tape and made a sort of checkered pattern and then I painted it with a deep green polish, removing the striping tape right after. For my middle and ring fingers, I took my dotter tool and added a few light orange flowers around the nails. I then added some yellow accents around the flowers with yellow and the centers of the flowers in black. I really like how these came out and like the almost fall-like feel to them. Polishes Used; OPI in Rebel Without a Moss (dark green). Butter London in Sunnies (light orange) and Cheeky Chops (yellow). Essie in ...

Bubblegum gradient

Hey guys! For this week's nails, I wanted to use some bright colors in a gradient. I started off with two coats of a light blue and let it dry. Then I painted the two colors of polishes I wanted next to each on a makeup sponge. Then with the sponge I dabbed on the colors, reapplying when needed until I got the desired gradient on my nails. I accented with a pink jewel on two nails. Polishes Used; Pacifica in Pale Blue Eyes (blue). OPI in One Heckla of a Color! (purple).  See you guys next week.

Sunshine

Hello everyone. I love yellow! Almost every color pairs nicely with it, and nothing is more classic than white. Yellow and white are prefect for summer and to brighten up your day and your nails. I started off with two coats of a white polish and let that fully dry. Then I took some striping tape and made two thick stripes on the nail and painted the exposed part of the nail with yellow. When you remove the tape you will get two white and three yellow stripes. And to add extra sunshine to these nails, I added a coat of glitter. Polishes Used; OPI in The 'It' Color (yellow). Essie in Blanc (white). China Glaze in Fairy Dust (glitter).   See you guys next week!

Summer Vibes

Hello. In the boiling summer heat, it is hard not to use bright orange and teal polish, which pairs perfectly with dark blue. For this week's nails, I started off with two coats of a bright orange polish. Once that was dry, I taped off the tip at an angle and painted it with teal. Then when the teal was dry I taped off the base of the nail at a different angle and painted it a deep blue. Polishes Used; OPI in Summer Lovin' Having a Blast (orange), Was It All Just a Dream? (teal), and Chills Are Multiplying! (deep blue). Have a good week!

Divided Diamonds

Hello everyone! For this week's nails I wanted to do a design with a lot of colors that I have not done before. I wanted something with red and my sister helped me pick out colors that would look good with it (thanks Shann). For these nails, I started with two coats of a nude polish and let them dry. Then I taped a triangle onto the side of the nail and painted it red. When that was dry, I then repeated the same tape of the opposite side of the nail and painted it brown. Once all of it was fully dry, I painted a black stripe down the middle of the nail, covering the tips of both triangles. Polishes Used; OPI in My Vampire Is Buff (nude-ish). Pacifica in Cinnamon Girl (red). Zoya in Chanelle (brown).  Morgan Taylor in Little Black Dress . Have a good weekend.

Interactive Introverts

Hey guys! I am a big fan of two British YouTubers named Dan and Phil. In 2016, as a graduation present for myself, I went to see their first stage show The Amazing Tour Is Not On Fire . This year, they have decided to do another stage show called Interactive Introverts . Since I did nail art for the last show, how could I not do some for this show? ( TATINOF nails here ) The show was amazing and fun and not too interactive for this introvert. It was one of the best nights of my life. Polishes Used; Morgan Taylor in All White Now and Little Black Dress . OPI in Tile Art to Warm Your Heart (blue). Essie in lacquered up (red). Thank you so much Dan and Phil!

sea dreams

Hey guys! Nothing is more summery than the sea. I love water and how the color changes from light to dark. For my nails this week, I wanted to do a gradient that mimicked the colors of the sea. I started off with two coats of a light blue and let dry for 10 min. Then, with a makeup sponge, I sponged the darker and lighter blue on to the nail. moving the sponge up a down a bit to get the colors to fade. I added a glitter top coat and a few jewels to finish off the look. Polishes Used; Essies in bikini so teeny (light blue) and butter please (blue). China Glaze in Fairy Dust (glitter).  See you guys next week.
