no nails

Hey guys. Since it is nice and chilly outside, nothing beats blue nails for me. For this week's nails, I wanted to have a striking contrast with light and dark. So, I went with a light blue and black. I started off with two coats of a light blue and let that dry. Then I taped off half the nail at an angle and painted the other side black. I added a jewel on two fingers to add a little extra to the design. I really love the contrast of the light and dark. Polishes Used; Essie in bikini so teeny (blue) and licorice (black).  Hope everyone has a good week.

Hello and happy New Year! I hope everyone has had a good start to the new year and is ready to take on the rest of the year. I let my nails rest after the holidays, but finally got to painting them again. I love doing gradients, especially if they are blue. I wanted to do a sort of stormy sea look with light blue, grey, and white. For this gradient, I made sure the grey (which is in between the blue and white) was the smallest and would fade nice into both colors. I really love how beautiful these nails came out. Polishes Used; Essie in udon know me (blue), now and zen (gray), and blanc (white). See you guys next week!
