Happy New Year everyone! This has been a very busy year with very little time to relax. As a way to send off the year, I did a little year summary of all the nails I did from each month. Thank you to any and everyone for reading and/or looking at my nails. I appreciate it very much. I hope to see you next year with more nails! Hope everyone has a happy and safe New Year's with the people you love.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!!! As it is Christmas (Eve), how can one not do Santa nails?! 'Tis the season, right? Since you need more than just Santa, I added snowflakes to my Santa suit and hat design. As it is Christmas, it's a short post today.  Polishes Used; OPI in Big Apple Red (red). Essie in blanc (white), licorice (black), ballet slippers (light pink), and getting groovy (gold). China Glaze in Fairy Dust (glitter).  Hope everyone has a safe and merry Christmas.

Dashing and Prancing

Hello everyone. One of my favorite nail styles to do this time of year is my reindeer set. They are just so cute and perfect for the season. For these nails, I started off with two coats of a cream color and let dry. Then I painted a base of the reindeer head with a light brown and added ears in the same color. Then with a darker brown I added antlers next to the ears. Then with white I added dots for eyes and with black I added pupils on top of the white and nose on all but one of the reindeer, which got a red nose. I love these nails so much. Polishes Used; Essie in blanc (white), licorice (black), truth or bare (light brown), and little brown dress (dark brown). Zoya in Jacqueline (cream). China Glaze in Ruby Pumps (glitter red). See you guys tomorrow!

Hey guys. There is nothing like Christmas trees--they're one of my favorite things this time of year. So, as an ode to Christmas trees, I did branches on my nails with a few berries to add a pop of color. (These were mildly based on some washi tape my sister has.) Polishes Used; OPI in Ayahuasca Made Me Do It (light green/base color) and Big Apple Red (red). Essie in stylenomics (dark green). See you on Christmas eve eve!

red & silver

Hello everyone! Bright glittering ornaments always draw the eye when decorating for Christmas. And silver and red are a perfect color combo. I started off with two coats of a white polish and then made circles using a glittery red and silver on every other nail except the ring finger. Then, using a dark gray, I added the hooks onto each circle to look like ornaments. On the ring finger, I drew a triangle with the same dark grey polish. Then I drew line connecting the triangle on the inside and added little dots in red and silver to look like a decorated tree. Polishes Used; Essie in blanc (white) and over the edge (dark grey). Morgan Taylor in Diamonds Are My BFF (silver glitter). China Glaze in Ruby Pumps (red glitter). See you tomorrow.

Ice Skating

Image
Hello everyone! Ice skating is the perfect way to start off the winter season. And it's perfect to paint on your nails. There is something magical about ice skating on a frozen lake and I wanted to replicate that look and feeling on to my nails. I went for a delicate look for these nails so they could capture the magic of cold frosty days. Polishes Used; Essie in find me an oasis (light blue), now and zen (gray), blanc (white), and licorice (black). OPI in Ginger's Revenge (red) and my vampire is buff (light tan). Hope everyone has a good week!

Winter Wonderland

Happy Holidays everyone! It is finally December and I'm ready to be festive! As some of you may know, every year I do snowman nails as a little celebration of the first nail art I did several years ago. This year I added a few extra trees to the other nails and one more snowman for more fun. Polishes Used; OPI in Dreams Need Clara-fication (light blue) and Envy the Adventure (green). Essie in blanc (white), licorice (black), and orange, it's obvious! (orange). China Glaze in Fairy Dust (glitter).  See you tomorrow.
