Pyeongchang Olympics 2018

Image
Hello everyone! The Pyeongchang Olympics happened these last two weeks. The Winter Olympics are my favorite Olympics, so how could I resist NOT doing nail art for these Olympics in such a beautiful country? For these nails, I took a lot of inspiration from watching all the ice skating (my favorite sport) and the logo that was under the ice. I used white for the base color of my nails because of the symbolism white created in the opening ceremony. Polishes Used; Essie in blanc (white), licorice (black), and mojito madness (green). OPI in The "It" Color (yellow) and Rich Girls and Po-Boys (blue). Butter London in Come to Bed Red (red). Hope all of you have a good week!

heart tipped

Happy Valentine's Day everyone ! Hope everyone is enjoying their day surrounded by the people you love and remembering to love yourself because self love is the most important love of all. For today's nails, I wanted to do a twist on the original french tips. I started with two coats of a nude tone polish that matches my skin. The I used a dotter tool and made two large dot at the tip of the nail and made them connect in the middle to look like the top half of a heart. Is any good valentine's nail complete without a coat of glitter ? Polishes Used; OPI in Bubble Bath (nude for my skin tone). Morgan Taylor in All White Now . China Glaze in Fairy Dust .  See you 💋

Hearts

hallo! There is nothing like hearts everywhere to make you feel the love that surrounds you. For today's nails. I wanted to do something that accented the heart. I really like the idea of doing the inverse colors with the same idea on two nails. I started with two coats of red nail polish on all of the fingers but the ring and the index which I instead painted with a nude polish. On the index, I took a toothpick and painted the outline of a heart and then filled around the outside of it. I did the same on the ring except I filled in the heart instead of around it.  These are probably some of my favorite nails that I have done in a while and I'm overjoyed with how they came out. Polish Used; Butter London in Saucy Jack (red). OPI in Bubble Bath (nude).  See ya!

fairy gradient

Hallo! To start off the Valentine's season, I wanted to do a light gradient. There is something about pink polish that I love so much. The more pink, the better. I started off with a quick coat of the lighter pink. Then on a make up sponge I painted the two pink polishes next to each other and then dabbed it on my nail, moving the sponge a bit each dab to make the color get a faded color. I added more polish to the sponge and reapplied to the nail until I reached the desired look on my nail. Polishes Used; OPI in Look at My Bow! (bubblegum pink) and Let's Be Friends! (light pink). See you guys next week!
