DNA

Image
Hi! My favorite band, BTS, recently released a music video for their new song "DNA." The video uses colors amazingly. They somehow make all these bright colors go well together without any of them being overpowering, which is something not easily done. The video is amazing and the rest of their new mini-album is fantastic. I highly recommend it so check out the video here. For the nails, I started off with one coat of white polish (this will make the colors really pop). Then I took a makeup sponge and painted the blue and yellow onto it. Next, I applied the sponge to my nails and added more polish until I got the desired colors. I then applied a thin coat of glitter polish. Once everything was dry, I used red striping tape on two accent fingers and a layer of top coat to finish off the look. Polishes Used; OPI in Alpine Snow (white), Do You See What I See? (bright blue), and Need Sunglasses? (yellow). China Glaze in Fairy Dust (glitter). See you guys!

Golden Mix 'n' Match

Image
Hello everyone. The other day, I saw the prettiest nails on someone and took a bit of inspiration from the colors that they had on their nails. The color combo was of purple and yellow and I just really liked the look so I went for a mix 'n' match mani. This one is a bit different than other ones that I have done and think it looks really cool. Polishes Used; OPI in (yellow). Zoya in (purple). Essie in (glitter).  See you guys next week.

Mossy Forest

Hallo! Green. Green polishes are so under rated. They are so pretty and are prefect for fall. So, I wanted to do a green gradient that works nice for a forest aesthetic. I started out with one coat of the lighter green. Then with a makeup sponge, I applied both polishes to the nail. Tutorial here. Next, I added a coat of glitter and sealed it with top coat. Polishes Used; OPI in Rebel Without a Moss (dark green) and This Isn't Greenland (light green). See you guys next week.
