Dipped in Glitter

Image
Hi. You can never go wrong with a red manicure. They are classic and always brighten my day. For this mani, I kinda did a reverse/opposite half-moon. Traditionally, half-moons are where the base of the nail (near the cuticle) is painted a light color/left nude and the top of the nail is a darker polish and the polishes meet at a curved line: making it look like a half moon. But, for my manicure I painted the base of the nail red and did a curved glitter at the tip of the nail instead of the base. You can see my half-moon tutorial here . Polishes Used; Butter London in Saucy Jack (red). OPI in My Voice is a Little Norse (glitter). See ya next week.

Mermaid tips

Hey guys. I have a very big weakness for blue/green polishes since I just bought a few more😶. I just recently discover Pacifica polishes and fell for all their lovely colors (also they are 7 free & vegan polishes so they are really cool). I wanted to show off my favorite color that I bought--therefore, I went for a white mani so the color would really show up. For this mani, I went for two coats of white polish on all my nails and let that dry fully. Then I taped thin triangles on my index and ring fingers and painted them with the greeny/blue mermaid color. Polishes Used; Morgan Taylor in All White Now . Pacifica in Mermaid .  Enjoy the rest of the week!

The Dark Prophecy

Hello everyone! As some of you may know, I am a huge Rick Riordan fan. His most recent book, The Dark Prophecy , just came out on the 2nd of May. I love this book so much, the plot was wonderful and had great twist; it also featured one of my favorite characters of all time so . . . . I always love the doing nail art based off of the cover art since there are beautiful gradients. I started of with a coat of the lightest color polish. Then used a make-up sponge to blend in the other two colors. Gradient tutorial here. Polishes Used; Essie in Lapiz of luxury(light purple) and kimono-over(dark purple) . OPI in It's a Boy (light blue) because gender roles amiright .  See you guys next week.

Teal Sparkle

Hi! I hope everyone is enjoying their week. My nails have gone though a "beating" recently, with so much polish changes and house work that I needed to go easier on them this week. So, I went with a really basic mani that still looks really nice and can work with any color. Polishes Used; OPI in My Dogsled is a Hybrid (teal). China Glaze in Fairy Dust (glitter).  See you guys next week.
