Happy Halloween

Image
Happy Halloween everyone ! I hope all of you are having a spooky day today.  I did a witch-themed manicure to celebrate. I started off with a dark blue polish. Then I placed a hole punch protector on my ring finger to get the perfect circle, and painted it a creamy white to look like the moon. I then added smaller white dots around to look like stars. For a little extra touch I added a quick coat of glitter, then put the witch in front of the moon. Polishes Used; Essie in after school boy blazer(blue) . Morgan Taylor in All White Now . Zoya in Jacqueline (cream). China Glaze in Fairy Dust (glitter).  Have a safe and happy Halloween!

BOO

Hello everyone. This week, I have ghost nail art for you on top of a misty gradient. I went for an almost smokey periwinkle as the base and then sponged on a dark stormy purple ( for a gradient tutorial click here ). Once that was dry, I took a large dotter tool and added the base of the ghost. I used a toothpick to add the eyes and mouth for smaller detail. Polishes Used; Morgan Taylor in Little Black Dress and All White Now. China Glaze in Secret Peri-wink-le . Zoya in Neve .  See you on Halloween!

Sneaky Black Cat

Hello everyone. I really love the Halloween season, from carved pumpkins to black cats. The season just wouldn't be that same if I didn't have black cat nails. I went for a classic black and white combination. I painted two coats of black and white alternating between them on all nails (I did it so white would be on the index and ring finger).  Then, using a dotter tool, I added a few big dots surrounded by four smaller dots to make paw print on all except on my  ring finger. On the ring I free-handed a black cat in the classic arched back position. Polishes Used; Morgan Taylor in Little Black Dress and All White Now . China Glaze in Fairy Dust.  See you guys next week.

Spider French Tips

Hello everyone! Seeing that it is the month of Halloween, I wanted to do a slightly spooky nail art. I started with two coats of a nude polish. Then, I taped off the tip of my nail at an angle and painted the tip a bright orange. When that was fully dry, I took a nail sticker of a spider and placed it crawling up my nail. This is a very easy mani and allows a classy look transition to a haunted mani. Polishes Used; Essie in ballet slippers (nude) and meet me at sunset (orange).  See you guys next week for more spooky nails.
