no nails

Hello! Seeing as I am counting down the days until I can get a Pumpkin  Spice latte from Starbucks, I thought doing some nails with the look of a Pumpkin Spice would help me last until I can get one. I love this orange so much; it is perfect for fall and just so very pretty. As always, I did two coats of the base polish (orange) and let that dry. Then I taped my nail at a harsh slant and painted the tip with a glittery red/brown polish. Polishes Used; OPI in It's a Piazza Cake (the best pumpkin orange ever). butter London in Bric-A-Brac (glittery red/brown). See you guys next week! 

Hello everyone. As most of you know, the Rio 2016 Olympics have been happening these last two weeks. I absolutely love watching all of the sports from gymnastics to diving. Seeing as the whole world is taking a breath to watch these amazing Olympians compete for their counties, I wanted to do some nails to commemorate this moment in the world. I really took inspiration from the opening ceremony and all the arenas; there are a lot of greens throughout the arenas of the Olympics and it really plays up the theme of nature. I used a green glitter to give a tree-like look to some of my nails. Polishes Used; Essie in mojito madness (green). China Glaze in Pine-ing for Glitter (green glitter). Hey guys. This and upcoming weeks mark the beginning of school for many people . . . that is normally my cue to start doing more fall-like colors as I desperately wait for the cooler weather to hit. So, to get more into the excitement of fall, I did some nails that really remind me of prep school or just the being of school. I really like the half and half nails (as I call them); they really allow you to do thousands of different color combos and it just looks really nice. I went for colors from the new OPI Washington DC collection. Polishes Used: OPI in Never a Dulles Moment (yellow) and CIA = Color is Awesome( blue). See you guys next week.

Hey guys! One of my favorite books series is The Land of Stories by Chris Colfer. The book series follows Alex and Connor Baily on their journeys throughout the fairy tail world, battling legendary fairy tale villains and saving worlds. It is a very good series and since the most recent addition to the series just came out, An Author's Odyssey, I wanted to have some nails that really captured the journey, adventure, and magic that the books have always had. For the nail art, I went with one nail for each book (so far). I painted each nail the color of the book they represented. With a white polish, I did dots in a wavy line to show the whimsy and journey though the books, making sure the line connects on all the nails. 1: The Wishing Spell = green 2: The Enchantress Returns = purple 3: A Grimm Warning = red 4: Beyond the Kingdom = blue 5: An Author's Odyssey = black Polishes Used; Zoya in Hunter (green).
