STAR TREK BEYOND

Image
Hello trekkies! Star Trek Beyond came out on July 22nd . . . and I have already seen it in theaters twice (I might need help). The movie was by far the best Star Trek movie so far and is one on my favorite movies every. Justin Lin did a great job directing it, and Simon Pegg and Doug Jung were amazing writers. Go see it, it is absolutely amazing for both die-hard trekkies and new fans alike. To show my love for this movie I did nails based off one of the movie posters. I did a yellow/orange to blue gradient with glitter for stars and a deep purple insignia based off the coffee mug from the movie. For this, I did combine some polishes to get the color I wanted so there are a lot of polishes I used for this mani. Polishes Used; Essie in meet me at sunset(dark orange), tart deco(light orange), find me an oasis(light blue), and classical cliche(shimmery blue). OPI in The "It" Color(yellow). Zoya in Lidia(purple). China Glaze in Fairy Dust(glitter).     For ...

Disneyland

Image
Hey guys! A few weeks ago, my family and I went on a trip to Disneyland! It was so amazing and absolutely magical. To go for the occasion of my first trip to Disneyland, I wanted to have Disney-themed nail art. For this, I wanted to do very classic Disney with Mickey Mouse. Mickey is probably the most recognizable character on Earth and is also one of the easiest characters to paint on your nail since it is just three dots connected to each other. (You would also be able to do more princess-y nails like these just by replacing the red with a light blue and on the thumb paint on a glass slipper instead.) Polishes Used: OPI in Big Apple Red. Morgan Taylor in Little Black Dress and All White Now. China Glaze in Fairy Dust.  I will see you guys next week with some special Star Trek Beyond nails since it premieres this weekend.

Graduation 2016

Image
Hey guys! Sorry there was no post last week, I went on vacation to Disneyland and was too busy to get a post up. Anyway, at the end of June I actually graduated, which is so weird to me for some reason. To celebrate the occasion  I did grad-themed nails. My school colors were black, white, and gold. I went for more classy-chic nails. I started with nude nails, then used striping tape to give diagonals across the nails and painted over them in black. On the ring finger, I painted a square at an angle and added a gold line a jewel to look like a tassel. Polishes Used: OPI in Bubble Bath(nude). Morgan Taylor in Little Black Dress(black). Essie in good as gold(gold).  See you guys next week!
