Halloween!!!

Image
Boo! Today is Halloween! One of the biggest things about Halloween is carved pumpkins with a classic face! How could I not do jack-o-lantern nail art?! I, of course, started off with two coats of a lovely deep orange color. When that was dry, I taped two triangles towards the base of the nail and painted them black (on the index and ring fingers). I then did one smiley face and one grumpy face. Polish Used: OPI in It's a Pizza Cake (deep orange), essie in licorice (black) See ya guys next week!

black cat

Hi guys! One think that you can't have Halloween without is a black cat! I personally love cats' whiskers and their ears! There are just so cute. For my nails, I did two coats of a light/nude pink. When that was dry, I made a dot in the center of my middle finger and added three little lines coming from the dot to make up the whisker and nose. On the index and ring finger, I taped little triangles right at the tips to make them look like cat ear and painted them black.  I love how cute they came out. Polishes Used: OPI in Bubble Bath, essie in licorice  See you on Halloween!

Witch's Hat

Image
Hallo!! One of my favorite spooky characters is the witch! I love witches and their amazing hats. . . so, naturally, I had to paint witch's hats on my nails. I started off with two coats of a bright, shiny purple. When that was fully dry, I taped a triangle on both my ring and index fingers and painted the inside of the triangles black. With a dotter tool, I made a sort of oval around the base of the triangle to make the hat's brim. After all of that was dry, I used a tooth pick to paint a green line around the base of hat (before the brim). Then with gold I made a little square on the middle of the green line to make a little buckle.  I finished with a coat of top coat and they looked amazing! Polishes Used:  essie = licorice(black) & good as gold(gold) & mojito madness(green), OPI = Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs See you guys on Wednesday.

Reverse Silhouette

Image
Hi guys!! I have seen a lot of nails with the moon and stars and like a silhouette of a house, but i wanted to change it up a bit. I wanted to have silhouettes of the stars and the moon instead them being bright. So I started off with two coats of a creamy yellow. When that was dry, I used a toothpick to painted on pointed starts in black, and on the ring finger I added a crescent moon.  This looks really cool because the stars and moon look like they are shining black. Polishes Used: butter London = Cheeky chops(yellow), essie = licorice(black) So next week I will have posts on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday for halloween!! See ya guys!

Frankenstien Nails

Image
Hey guys! For my second set of Halloween nails I wanted to do Frankenstein. I chose to do the stitches. I started off with two coats of a green-y gray color. When that was dry I added lines scattered around all my nails, in a dark purple polish, using a tooth pick. Then, to the lines I added shorter lines through them to make them look like stitches. Polishes used: Zoya = Lidia(purple) & Charli(gray/green)  See ya guys next week!

I did white on black french tips to start, then to add some spookiness, I added fangs.  So Vampire french tips! Polishes used: Essie = blanc (white) & licorice (black)  See ya guys next week!
