Avengers: Age of Ultron Nails

Image
'Sup Peeps! Today I am giving you both a mini mani and my no nails!(Possible Spoilers ahead so if you haven't seen it yet don't read) Have you guys seen Avengers: Age of Ultron yet? Being the crazy Marvel fans my family and I are, we saw it the day it came out. Naturally, I had to do these special nails for the movie. Since there are 9 Avengers in this movie, I needed an extra hand. So, of course I grabbed Shannon . I divided the Avengers up into four on each hand. I got Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Black Widow, while Shann got Thor, Hulk, Quick Sliver, and Scarlet Witch. (I know that is only 8, but I wanted to save Vision for later). Colors by nail: No: Thumb; Avengers A = Mineral Fusion - Gravel Road (gray) / OPI - Big Apple Red (red) Pointer; Hawkeye =  Essie - Lapiz of luzary (backround), Over the Edge (bow string), Petal Pusher (arrow), Licorice (bow) Middle; Iron Man = Essie - A list (red), good as gold (gold) Ring; Captain America =  Essie - Bl...

Midnight Gradient

Image
Hey hey hey Peeps! I have been working on two big posts and will have one of them up on Monday! I will then have a two part-er coming up  and a tutorial and a new page! But for now, I give you a gradient that I just love so much! Now you might know how much I love doing gradients. I did one on my Aunt last time she was here and I just loved how it came out. So, I had to do one for me, too! If you don't know how to do a gradient, I have a tutorial here . So, for this gradient I went with purple! I wanted a light purple to fade into a darker one. So the midnight gradient was born! I started off with the lighter color on all the nails (just one coat) then I moved on to the sponging! One coat of glitter and I was done! Colors: OPI = Vant to Bite My Neck? (dark purple), You're Such a BudaPest (Light purple), Pirouette My Whistle (glitter) See you Monday! Peace Out!

Love Pink

Hey hey hey, Polish Peeps!! Now that it is time to show off your toes, they need to look super cute! So I wanted to do a basic color that can work with anything!! Pink. It is simple but it will get noticed when it's on your piggies! And, of course, you can never go wrong with a quick coat of glitter! I love doing a basic pedis because they always work regardless of what type of shoe you like to wear! Tip: If you are lazy like me and don't feel like going crazy with nail art own your toes, but you need a little something extra, add a jewel or a quick coat of glitter (or both). This makes them sparkle and pretty without the hassle of doing nail art.  Colors:  Morgan Taylor = Watch Your Step Sister (pink), China Glaze = Fairy Dust (glitter) Hope you guys like them! I will have some really big posts coming up, so be ready! Peace out.

Blooming in Pink & Purple

Hey hey hey Polish Peeps!! For Shannon's Graduation , I gave her a little nail art to blow away her friends, but I couldn't stop just there. I gave my mom and me matching manis, too! I went for the color scheme of the outfits we were wearing. It was a light pink; then I had dark purple accents and my mon had dark blue so I changed the mani just a little to match. I started off by painting all the nails light pink (two coats). Then I did two flowers on both the ring and the pointer fingers in a darker pink. I added a purple jewel to the center of each of my flowers and a blue jewel for my mom. A quick coat of glitter and I was done. Colors:  Morgan Taylor = (Light Pink), Morgan Taylor = (Darker pink), China glaze = Fairy Dust (glitter)   And as a little bonus for Mother's Day . . . here are the hands of my sister, my mom, and me! I thought this was a good post to save for Mother's Day. Now go tell your mom that you love her!  Peace out!

Pink and Black

Hallo! I recently found the exact color of nail polish that I bought with my own money in fourth grade. It was my first ever nail polish that I purchased with my own money that didn't have a Disney princess on the bottle! I wore this color so much in fourth grade and haven't stopped painting my nails since. I would sometimes try to go without nail polish, but I thought that the nails looked plain and almost sad. So, I kept color on my nails. Later on, my sister showed me a nail art blog and here we are today. So thank you, my fourth grade self, for setting me on this path. Anyway, I love this color and wanted to set it off with black. I always love to add white or black to set off my nails. So, I added little triangles at the tips of my nails and then a little jewel on my ring for an accent nail. Colors: Revlon = Cherries in the Snow, Essie = licorice Thanks peeps! Hope you enjoyed a little bit of my life and the nails! (I have some really cool Avengers: A...
