New Year New Nails

Image
Hallo Polish Peeps! Last day of the year! So, I give you the last nails of the year! Since New Year's is always big, loud, and always with fireworks, I went with nails that have the feel of New Year's to me. I first started off with painting my nails with my favorite dark blue. This makes the nails look the dark midnight sky. From here I wanted the blue to be matte so I used a matte top coat. The blue will then be matte and no longer shiny, but the decoration on top of the blue will be shiny! I took my silver polish and added silver dots to all my nails.  Do NOT add top coat to these nail, if you do you will no longer have the matte on the dark blue. They look very loud and I like to think like fireworks, parties, and New Year's! Colors: Essie = After School Blazer (dark blue), Essie = Matte About You (Matte top coat), Essie = No Place Like Chrome (Silver) (I love essie if you can't tell ;) ) I think they will work perfectly for my New Year's! Tell m...

12th Nail of Christmas

Image
Ho Ho Ho my Polish Peeps! On the twelfth day of Christmas, my nail elves painted for me . . . Santa(sorta)! Now, we can't have Christmas without Santa! So for my last set of Christmas nails I give you Santa. I started by painted all my nails red except the ring finger which I painted a light pink. From there, I taped of a triangle on the ring finger and painted it red. Then I took my dotter tool and put two layers of white dots at the top of my ring finger. And then made a little ball at the top of the triangle. On the thumb, I taped of the bottom half and painted it black. From there, I dotted little dots from the top of the nail to the black part of the nail with white. From there, a taped a square on the black part of the nail and painted it gold. When the gold dried I added little lines of black inside the gold and then finished all the nails with top coat! Now that you have a really weird idea of what the nails look like in your head . . . let's see the pictures! Co...

Christmas Toes!!!

Image
Hey Polish Peeps! Happy Christmas Eve!!! Since today is Christmas Eve, I wanted to give you two sets of nails. One for your fingers and one for your toes! For these toes, I wanted to have a classic red. And as a little decor for the big toe, I added a flower with green accents on it! Colors: OPI = Big Apple Red, OPI = Alpine Snow, Stripe Rite = Green Merry Christmas (Eve)! I hope all of you have amazing holidays! Peace Out!

11th Nail of Christmas

Image
Hey Hey Hey, Polish Peeps! On the eleventh day of Christmas, my nail elves painted for me . . . Tips-mas! For these nail, I wanted something a bit more fancy. So, what is more classy than French Tips. . . but with a bit of a twist! I taped of the top of my nail at an angle, to have them tilted, and painted them with my lovey Christmas nail polish and added a little jewel to the ring and thumb. Colors: Essie = limo-scene (light pink), No-Miss Nail Care = Country Christmas (red & green sparkle)  I love how these came out and they look so pretty! The last day of Christmas, the twelfth nail of Christmas, tomorrow. Peace Out!

10th Nail of Christmas

Image
Hallo Polish Peeps! On the tenth day if Christmas, my nail elves painted for me . . . Green Glitter!  Once again, I picked a polish that would be strong against the craziness of the season. For this glitter, I put on two to three coats to fully cover the whole nail. So every part is touched with glitter. Colors: China Glaze = Pine-ing for Glitter  I hope you guys like them as much as I do! Also I am so SORRY that this is late! I forgot to post it yesterday and I feel so bad. The eleventh nail of Christmas coming shortly after this post! Peace out!

9th Nail of Christmas

Image
Hallo Polish Peeps! On the ninth day of Christmas, my nail elves painted for me . . . a Sparkly Red! For these nails, I wanted to do something with no nail art and do something that is easy and fast because the closer we get to Christmas, the harder we are on our nails. Glitter always is a very strong polish and will survive wrapping presents and last-minute shopping! So, I used a Zoya Pixie Dust in a beautiful red! Remember that the Pixie Dust is a matte polish, so don't use a top coat. Color:  Zoya = Oswin  Pretty and easy! I love it! New tenth nail of Christmas tomorrow! Peace Out!

8th Nail of Christmas

Image
Good afternoon my wonderful Polish Peeps! On the eighth day of Christmas, my nail elves painted for me . . . a Christmas Tree! For these nails, I painted all of the nails a forest green except for the ring finger. I painted that one a light pink. When all of the nails were dry, I taped of a triangle shape on my ring finger and painted it the forest green. From there, I decorated the tree with red and gold dots and, of course, a star on top! Colors: Mineral Fusion = Mossy Bank (green) , OPI = Big Apple Red (red), Essie = Jiggle Hi, Jiggle Lo (gold), Essie =  limo-scene (light pink) I hope you like them as much as I do! See you tomorrow for the ninth day of Christmas! Peace out!

7th Nail of Christmas

Image
Hallo Polish Peeps! On the seventh day of Christmas, my nail elves painted for me . . . Reindeer!  On these nails, I painted all my nails, except the ring finger, a light brown. I used a light pink on the ring finger. When the ring finger was dry, I taped off a circle near the top of the nail and painted it with the same light brown. Free-handed, I added antlers with a darker brown, ears with the light brown, and eyes with white and black. When that dried, I taped off another circle at the very end of the nail and painted with a sparkly red. Colors: Zoya = Chanelle (light brown), Essie = allure (light pink/white), Essie = Smokin' Hot (Dark Brown), China Glaze = Ruby Pumps (sparkly red), China Glaze = Liquid Leather (black), OPI = Alpine Snow (White)   I think these are my favorites of the nails so far! So cute! The eighth day of Christmas is coming tomorrow. Peace out!

6th Nail of Christmas

Image
Hallo Polish Peeps! On the sixth day of Christmas, my nail elves painted for me . . . Lights! For these nails, I started with a white polish and let that dry completely. Then I taped a thin wavy line in the center of the nail and painted it black. I then free-handed little dots on the black line, going back and forth between red and green to create Christmas lights. Colors: OPI = Alpine Snow, OPI = Big Apple Red, Zoya = Hunter I just love them and the pictures are some of my favorites for the 12 nails! Seventh day of Christmas tomorrow! Peace out!

5th Nail of Christmas

Image
Hello Polish Peeps! On the fifth day of Christmas, my nail elves painted for me . . . Gold Presents! For these nails, I stared of with plain gold nails, thinking that was pretty. I got tired of the nails quickly and decided to add pink lines on them like rings around some of the nails. When I showed my Mom, she said that they are almost presents and I liked that idea. So, I added another line and made a bow out of four nail jewels. Colors: Essie = Jiggle hi, Jiggle lo, Essie = Bump up the pumps  I hope you guys like them as much as I do! See you tomorrow for the sixth day of Christmas. Peace Out!
